TONY HANDFORD
About me
At the age of 16 I started my apprenticeship in carpentry & Joinery. Once completed, I moved on to conservation work. This is where I discovered my passion for wood turning, which I have been doing for over 15 years now.
My specialties are bespoke gallery work, production work, copying old turning work, and new turning work from drawings.
I also turn spindles and table legs, to all specifications.
I am proud to be on the register of professional turners.
Gallery Work
Construction work
We can copy, and work from drawings to produce designs. Shown here are 2.800mm height x 380 mm width Columns from Architecture Drawings.
Copy old turning work
On This Job I was given 1 spindle to work with. I made a choice for the Volute and the missing Tread. The customer did not like to have the centre newel post.
I can duplicate missing parts and work from drawings for new staircases.
